Our internship

The Seek Now DRIVE Academy Internship offers a 60-day to 180-day in-person internship, providing comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training in the roofing, property inspection, and property insurance industries. Interns will gain hands-on experience as third-party vendors, performing inspections, collecting samples, and conducting roof and exterior tarping. You’ll also learn how to estimate damage and navigate property insurance claims from start to finish. By the end of the program, you'll earn Haag Engineering Certified Inspector - Residential certification, along with Certificates of Completion in Roofing Contracting/Estimating and Property Desk Adjuster Claims Handling.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person property inspections, documenting findings with advanced tools.

• Collaborate with field and desk adjusters to generate detailed and accurate reports.

• Engage in the tarping of roofs and exteriors and estimate damage.

• Navigate and support the property insurance claim lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Active duty servicemember eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to participate in hands-on, in-person training and fieldwork.
